Regarding the microscope light that won't turn off — you can adjust the brightness by tapping the up and down arrows on the touchscreen. Simply keep tapping the down arrow until the brightness reaches the lowest level, and the light will turn off. We hope this helps resolve the issue!
Mijn zoontje is net 7 jaar geworden en heeft de MatataStudio coding robot net gekregen. Vanaf het allereerste moment dat de doos openging, was hij er meteen mee aan de slag. Het mooie is dat de robot direct uit de doos heel toegankelijk is en meteen uitnodigt om te spelen.
De grootste pluspunten tot nu toe
Tekenen met de stift: Het gebruik van de stift is hier absoluut favoriet. Hij vindt het fantastisch om te zien hoe de robot figuurtjes en lijnen op papier zet.
Muziek en geluid: De standaard ingebouwde liedjes vallen erg in de smaak en zorgen meteen voor veel vrolijkheid tijdens het testen.
Veel opties vanaf de start: Er zit meteen genoeg variatie in om mee te experimenteren, waardoor er direct van alles te ontdekken valt.
Het coderen zelf
Het daadwerkelijke programmeren is op deze leeftijd (net 7 jaar) nog wel een klein beetje lastig, maar hij vindt het wél ontzettend interessant. Het prikkelt zijn nieuwsgierigheid precies op de juiste manier om te snappen wat de commando's doen.
Ik ben erg benieuwd of hij hem er op de langere termijn net zo vaak bij blijft pakken als nu, maar de eerste indruk is in ieder geval heel veelbelovend!
Wat geweldig om te lezen dat je zo'n leuke eerste indruk hebt van de VinciBot! Het klinkt alsof je zoontje er echt plezier aan beleeft en dat de robot perfect aansluit bij zijn nieuwsgierigheid. We hopen dat hij er nog lang van blijft genieten! Bedankt voor je mooie review.

Das Set ist eine großartiger Einstieg in die Programmierung und animiert selbst die Kleinsten. Die Challenge books kommen ohne Lesekompetenz aus und sind daher super. Das Prinzip ist daher schnell verstanden und animiert zu eigenen Programmier Ideen. Besonders gut kommt das Geometrie AddOn an. Das MusicAdd on ist bei uns nicht so hoch im Kurs. Allerdings spielen die Kinder auch Instrumente und probieren sich da aus.
Obwohl das Coding Set eher für jüngere Kinder gedacht ist, sind auch unsere Großen vertieft gewesen und haben sich ausprobiert. Sie sind dann sehr schnell zum VinciBot übergegangen.
Besonders gut ist der ScreenFrei Ansatz. Und trotzdem kann man Schleifen und sogar Funktionen erklären.

très bien, bien que le fait que ça soit dans la catégorie à partir de 3 ans soit un peu surfait. Ma fille de trois ans peut s'amuser avec, mais essentiellement car c'est le bénéfice du temps passé avec son parent. Vous laisserez ainsi 90% de la boite de coté et devrez trouver des "scénarios" facilité. En dehors de ça, le matériel est d'excellent qualité et je n'ai aucun doute sur le fait que ça sera bien plus utile en grandissant !

Very nice of additions to the coding set to keep kids engaged for more time. The fact that it was a gratis swayed me to order directly from matata. The order in EU was delivered quickly and without any issues.
The robot works great and is engaging for the kids. I am happy that I decided for the pro set as my 6 year old figured out basic moves quickly and I am happy that he will still have the a goes and more complex drawing patterns to explore.
This set has everything that is needed for learning about IoT, AI, neural pathways and more. You just need to add a digital device. I like it because it’s a complete set of things. Even screwdrivers and other tools are included.

We bought the bot and creator kit together, and we just download the software on the kid’s tablet to connect the bot with Bluetooth, it works very well for my son to begin learning and playing immediately! Recommend for beginners kid learning circle!
We're homeschooling and I bought this for my two daughters to get them into programming and engineering. I work as an embedded engineer, so I look at this vincibot not only from a parent's perspective. I have to say it's very impressive and worth every penny. It's packed with sensors! Distance, colour, microphone, line following array, IR remote, it's got an LED dot matrix face you can draw and animate, several RGB LEDs on the top, a built-in speaker, and obviously the two motors for the wheels. And those motors are accurate to the point you can make the robot draw pictures on the table or measure exact distances with a ruler before programming it to go exactly that far. One really funny feature is the text-to-speech. My kids loved making it say funny stuff throughout the program. I think it might be based on the ESP32 (at least the Bluetooth and WiFi is), so probably runs a microphython interpreter, but we just played with the scratch based visual editor so far. Setup is straight forward and I appreciate the little printed booklet with learning challenges that came with it. Only small complaint I have is that the pen that came with it was dried up and didn't work. I'd recommend buying it from their website directly instead of Amazon etc. Was the best price and fast delivery.
My son was interested about programming before but now that he can see the result in the real world, touch and hear everything he creates, he fallen in love with it.
I sent an email as soon as I opened the microscope and immediately noticed a black speck on the viewing lense. Before going any further I took some photos with different objects under the lense to clearly show the defect. No response whatsoever. Not even the automated kind. If your product has zero customer service and you provided me a damaged or inferior product I'm forced to leave a poor review.
I recently purchased a microscope for my 9-year-old daughter, and I couldn’t be more pleased with our experience. After trying four different microscopes in the past, all of which left her frustrated because she couldn’t properly observe or explore anything, this one has been a complete game changer.
From the moment we set it up, everything worked flawlessly. The image quality is excellent, and it’s easy enough for a child to use independently while still offering real opportunities for discovery and learning. For the first time, my daughter is truly able to observe, experiment, and enjoy the process of exploring the microscopic world. She is absolutely thrilled with it.
We are incredibly happy to have discovered MatataStudio. Not only is the product fantastic, but their customer service also deserves special mention. They are exceptionally friendly, responsive, and accommodating, which made the whole experience even better.
As a small suggestion, it would be wonderful if there were a beginner-friendly children’s book included (or recommended) to guide kids through their first steps. This is absolutely not a requirement, but it could make it even easier and more engaging for children to get started at home.
Overall, we are very impressed and would highly recommend this microscope to other families looking to inspire curiosity and hands-on learning in their children.
